The Queen of Stone and Shadow
She wears a crown of heavy, stolen gold,
Upon stone walls where bitter whispers sweep.
She views a broken kingdom, cowed and cold,
With secrets darker than the oceans deep.
She thrives upon the silent fear she sows,
With eyes as freezing as the winter's ice.
She rules her subjects with a cruel decree,
And exacts a heavy, bloody price.
A poisoned goblet and a hollow smile,
She watches rivals tremble in the dust.
She loves the chill of power in her grasp,
And turns all fleeting loyalty to rust.
And when the night descends upon the hall,
Where dying torches cast a wicked gleam,
She sits enthroned in darkness and in stone,
The queen of every nightmare and dark dream.
